Brooklyn-based bassist, vocalist, and composer, Devon Gates, won Bowdoin College’s Marion Brown Prize in Composition and will be a resident artist on campus in early May. Do not miss the opportunity to hear her perform her music and compositions by Marion Brown, Geri Allen, Myra Melford and more with her collaborator, pianist, Eden Mastriani-Levi, guest Bowdoin students, and Bowdoin faculty, Tracy McMullen and Brian Shankar Adler.
